Course Description:
This course aims to:

• Teach students to appreciate the fundamental principles, design and operation of hydraulic and pneumatic machines and installation.
  
• Provide students with knowledge of the applications of fluid power in process, construction and manufacturing industries.
  
• Provide students with an understanding of the fluids and components utilized in modern industrial fluid power systems.
  
• Describe the purpose and operation of pneumatic and hydraulic components.
