Course Description:
This course aims to:

• Introduce students to essential knowledge of microprocessors/ microcontrollers, both software and hardware.
  
• Teach students instruction sets, programming in assembly, memory types and memory map and addressing.
  
• Teach students the basics of I/O both digital and analog, and the interrupt mechanism.
  
• Develop student's ability to design simple control systems.
