AINnovation 2014: Call for Projects!
3rd Arab Innovation Network Annual Conference (AINAC 2014): A Celebration of Ideas27-28 September 2014, Rotana Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
The AINnovation competition intends to bring together young professionals and university students with bright innovative minds, from a diverse range fields, including: Engineering, Environment and the Life Sciences & Healthcare. The competition shall provide a platform for young innovators to showcase their ideas and encourage interaction with our expert panel of judges.If your idea lies within our three themes, and you meet our basic eligibility requirements, then AIN invites you to apply online by May 16th, 2014. You must submit a two page executive summary and 3 minute video of your idea by clicking here.
All submissions shall initially be screened and checked for their relevance at AINAC 2014; afterwards they will be passed on to qualified referees for full evaluation. Authors will be notified as of the status of their submission in early June 2014, and if accepted must then register at least one team member, and prepare an oral presentation to be delivered during the conference.
In addition to the AINnovation competition, the programme shall feature: • invited keynote talks and workshops from eminent entrepreneurs, academics and industrialists both from within the region and internationally;
• an interactive exhibition that we refer to as our ‘Innovation Space’, where advanced innovators get to showcase their prototypes to keen investors, academics and industrialists, whilst at the same time provide a source of inspiration for up and coming young AIN innovators.
