Logo Design Contest for the ASU Mechatronics Engineering Department

الميكاترونيات مصطلح يستعمل للدلالة على حقل هندسي واسع ومتشعب جداً، وهذا الحقل الهندسي يجمع بين الهندسة الميكانيكية، والهندسة الكهربائية، وهندسة الحاسبات وهندسة الإلكترونيات، ويتطور هذا التخصص بصورة مذهلة من يوم إلى آخر. هذا المجال من الهندسة يتضمن تصميم أي منتج  يعتمد عمله على دمج أنظمة ميكانيكية وإلكترونية، إذ يقوم بدور المنسق فيما بينها ووضع منظومة تحكم  لها

قسم هندسة الميكاترونيات بجامعةعين شمس بصدد تجديد الشعار الخاص به لتواكب إزدهار ونمو القسم  لذا تطرح عليكم مسابقة تصميم هوية  كاملة خاصة بالقسم وفق لشروط الآتية
أن يكون مستوحيا من أساسيات وتطبيقات  التخصص -
أن يتميز بالابتكار والتجديد والابتعاد عن التقليد او أن يكون مستخدًما من قبل -
يتميز بالبساطة في التصميم وبوضوح الألوان وتناسقها -
ألا يتأثر مضمون الشعار عند وضعه باللون الأبيض والأسود او تدرج الرمادي٬ او عند التكبيروالتصغير -
يراعى عدم استخدام الصور الفوتوغرافية وعدم استخدام نماذج لصور وشعارات جاهزة -
يمكن للمصمم الاشتراك بأكثر من تصميم -
يرفق مع التصميم شرح لفكرة الشعار والألوان المستخدمة فيه ووصفا مختصرا لدلالاته -
 اقابلية الشعار للاستخدام كتصميم لورق المراسلات واللوحات الإعلانية ( البنرات) واللوحات الاعلانية المضيئة والملفات و القمصان والقبعات والحقائب والفلاشات وجميع الخامات (جلد - ­خشب -  ­ ورق
(تقديم مقترح لتصميمات المطبوعات ( اوراق المرسلات -­ الكروت - ­ الاظرف -
يقدم الشعار بمقاس أي4 وبالأبيض والأسود وبالألوان وبتدرج الرمادي -
in vector format
يلتزم المصمم بوضع أي تعديل يراه القسم على الشعار إن وجد وتكون ضمن مبلغ المكافأة المخصص -
آخر موعد لاستلام المشاركات هو يوم السبت الموافق 14  نوفمبر2015 -

:ملاحظات هامة -
القسم غير ملزم بقبول أي تصميم من التصاميم المشاركة في المسابقة٬ وتعتبر نتائج المسابقة بعد صدورها نهائية٬ ولا تقبل أي مراجعة -
تنتقل ملكية التصميم الفائز بالكامل إلى قسم هندسة الميكترونيات بجامعة عين شمس ٬ ولا يحق للمصمم الفائزاستخدامه أو الاستفادة منه بأي شكل من الأشكال -

يمنح مصمم الشعار الفائز جائزة مالية قدرها  ألف جنيه مصري  مع شهادة تقدير.

Rebranding ASU MCT

Mechatronics is an expression used to describe an interdisciplinary field that integrates Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, and Computer Engineering. Recently the field of Mechatronics has been booming with many diverse applications and products introduced to the market. This engineering discipline involves the design of smart products that integrates electronics and mechanical systems and devising a control system for it.

With the huge progress in the Mechatronics Engineering department at Ain Shams University, the department is looking to rebrand itself by putting out this contest to design its new brand identity package according to the following guidelines:

• to be inspired from the constituent disciplines and applications of Mechatronics
• should be creative, innovative and unconventional
• the design should be simple with clear and consistent colors
• the logo should not lose its value when put it in gray-scale or B&W
• should not use photographs and should not be based on ready made images or old logos
• designer can submit more than one design
• logo should be suitable to be printed on documents, envelopes, banners, posters, billboards, T-shirts, Hats, and all materials (paper, wood, metal)
• submission deadline is Saturday November 14th, 2015
• package to be submitted by the applicant should include: 
  - a document explaining the design idea of ​​the logo, the colors used in it and its significance
  - A4 sized logo in color, greyscale and B&W
  - design for letterhead, business cards and envelopes using this new logo
  - all designs should be submitted in vector and psd formats

​Important Notes

• The department is not obliged to accept any of the submitted designs within the contest 
• The contest results are considered final once announced
• The complete ownership of the design will be transferred to the Mechatronics Engineering Department at Ain Shams University, and the winner cannot use it after that or benefit from it

Contest Prize
The designer of the winning design will receive 1000 Egyptian pound prize in addition to a certificate of recognition
