Postgraduate Courses

Mechatronics Department at Ain Shams University enables Mechanical Engineering Students to choose postgraduate courses either for Masters (M.Eng or M.Sc) or PhD programs from several courses designated more than 600 (6XX) in Mechatronics Curriculum Plan. Moreover, the student might be able to choose courses introduced by Computer Sciences Engineering Department, Electrical Power Department and Design and Production Department.

For Masters Programs, four obligatory courses should be passed at the first semester with an overall GPA of 3.0. Afterwards, he/she can choose the rest of their courses. After completing 24 hours of the student can register his/her Thesis of M.Sc. program.

The four Obligatory Courses are:
Advanced Mathematics
Numerical Analysis
Design of Mechatronic Systems

For M.Sc. and PhD programs, students should pass a qualifying exam.
