Welcome to the Mechatronics Department at Ain Shams University. In September 2004, the Mechatronics program has been started to provide Mechanical Engineering students with a solid background and fundamental principles in Mechanics, Electronics, Control Theory and several related topics.... read more. In 2006, the first batch of Mechatronic students was graduated. Students in Mechatronics department are provided with appropriate learning environment and techniques based on “learning by doing” to enrich their intellectual, creative thinking and practical skills for solving engineering problems. Being a part of our department, you will have the ability to apply your acquired knowledge and practice hands on experience in our laboratories. Here, you will expand your knowledge, develop your capabilities and build up your skills to establish your career either in industry or research. The Masters and PhD programs cover advanced tracks such as Bio-Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, Autotronics, and Nano-Mechatronics (N/MEMS).
